Our last leg of the canyons loop! An early start so we would have time for Route 66 and maybe again Hoover Dam.
We had a stop and coffee at Williams, AZ Here you could take the train to Grand Canyon National Park.
Our second stop along Route 66 was in Seligman.
Back on I-40 and we had our first traffic jam, due to works and overturned truck; only a delay of 50 min.
Our lunch in Kingsman at Starbucks ….
From Kingsman on, it is for us the second time to do this road, but still the views are captive!
We stopped again at the Hoover Dam and had a nice walk over this immensely structure. They were even comparing it with building the pyramids in Egypt. (1931-1936)
We also stopped at a Lake Mead overlook.
Dinner at a Thai in Las Vegas, our last dinner with the seven of us. Arlette, Daniel and Rita are flying next day very very very early in the morning (4am with shuttle to airport).
The 2 left-over ladies took their chance to watch the show of Cirque du Soleil- Love The Beatles at The Mirages. It was a marvelous spectacle. My favorite was Yesterday! A good looking muscular young man gymnastic dancing.
